It will be Temp role until April poss longer- January start.
Key Responsibilities: Assess and treat young people with identified drug/alcohol problems.
Work with individual young people and their families, including those identified by the YOT Team.
Deliver tailored, evidence-based group work programmes.
Implement drug prevention and harm minimisation strategies.
Provide specialist consultation to other professionals.
Collaborate across agency boundaries, serving both statutory and third sectors.
Offer comprehensive and flexible assessment services.
Provide accessible information, advice, and support on substance misuse issues.Essential Requirements: Social Work degree or equivalent, or relevant professional qualification (e.g., Youth & Community, Education, NVQ 3 Health & Social Care, HNC in Social Care or Early Years).
Knowledge of substance misuse and the Criminal Justice Process related to young people.
