About the Role:

We are looking for a Youth Substance Use Prevention Coordinator to contribute to our project in Plymouth. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all young people in contact with the service are assessed and treated for identified drug/alcohol problems.

The key aspects of this role include working with individual young people who misuse substances and their families, delivering individually tailored and evidence-based group work programs where appropriate, and acting as a consultant to other professionals requiring specialist help and support.

As a member of our dynamic team, you will work across agency boundaries, delivering a service to both statutory and third-sector organizations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about substance misuse prevention and intervention.

Key Responsibilities:
* Work with young people who misuse substances and their families
* Deliver group work programs and relevant prevention strategies
* Provide specialist help and support to other professionals

We offer a competitive salary range of £18-20 per hour, plus VAT, depending on experience.
