Job Description

This is a full-time position responsible for protecting lives and property on campus, conducting crime prevention programs, and providing support to the university's mission. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of law enforcement practices and technology, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Patrolling campus grounds to maintain a visible presence and deter potential threats
  • Participating in emergency responses, investigations, and coordinating criminal prosecutions
  • Designing and implementing crime prevention programs to reduce risk and promote a culture of safety
  • Providing exceptional customer service and building relationships with students, faculty, and staff

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle safely
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other software applications
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
