About The Role
Ashurst is a 5-bed supported living bungalow in Hitchin, Herts, providing care and support for adults with learning and physical disabilities. Team Members enable each individual to achieve their personal goals and reach their full potential and to live wonderfully normal lives in the community and their own home.The individuals they support include Jack, who loves listening to stories He visits the fruit farm in summer to pick strawberries and loves visiting museums. Jack recently travelled to London to watch Mama Mia at the Novello Theatre; he loved all the songs Other individuals they support love to attend concerts and went to see Ed Sheeran most recently They all went to a local festival this year called Goatfest and had a fabulous time. They’ve been to the Harry Potter Studios in London and said they had a magical time… see what we did there? They also love arts and crafts and spending time in their garden. They love all things baking and often spend time at sensory sessions.
