Care support Empower is a supported living and domiciliary community care provider in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. you will be part of a team who provide outstanding quality care which is delivered consistently to our service users.
As a support worker you will help our service users to live happy and independent lives and support them in reaching their potential, through both practical and emotional support.

**The role**:
You don’t need previous experience or qualifications as there will be opportunities to train on the job and learn new skills. The type of care you will provide will be tailored to the needs of the individual. It is an incredibly varied and rewarding role as you will be helping the service users to improve their quality of life, achieve their goals and make a very real and positive difference to their lives.
There are opportunities to work both in a team and independently in a variety of different settings.
Our service users have different support needs and will need support for different reasons, they may have mental health needs, learning disabilities, medical conditions or physical disabilities.
As a support worker, you could be working in peoples homes, in the the community or in health and social care settings and may help service users with tasks such as mobility, eating and drinking or personal care. Other duties could include helping with meal preparation, household chores, administering medication, managing finances, accessing community facilities, going shopping, meeting friends, visiting doctors or providing general emotional support.
**Desirable Experience**:
- Experience within the care sector
- Holding a full driving license and access to your own vehicle.
