Support Worker for Families in Dunstable

We are seeking an experienced family support worker to join our team in Dunstable. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for supporting families in the area, improving outcomes for parents and children. This is a varied role with key responsibilities including being the first point of call for parents' general queries or concerns, supporting parents of children with additional needs, and safeguarding children within the school and monitoring attendance.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of safeguarding children in education, knowledge of local services for additional support, and previous experience in a similar role. The role is full-time, term-time only, and reports directly to the headteacher. The estimated salary for this position is £28,000 - £32,000 per annum depending on experience.
