Community Support Worker

About the Role
Central Bedfordshire Council is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our Adult Community Assessment/Review Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for completing holistic assessments, Mental Capacity Assessments, and Safeguarding investigations, while working in a strength-based, person-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized care plans
- Work collaboratively with individuals, families, and carers to promote independence and well-being
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with local services and communities to ensure seamless support
- Participate in multi-agency responses to support residents with complex health and social care needs
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practice in adult social care

Requirements
- Recognized Social Work qualification and current registration with Social Work England
- Strong understanding of adult social care principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Commitment to promoting independence, well-being, and best practice in adult social care
