About the Role

Central Bedfordshire Council is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our Adult Community Assessment/Review Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for completing holistic assessments, Mental Capacity Assessments, and Safeguarding investigations, while working in a strength-based, person-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized care plans
  • Work collaboratively with individuals, families, and carers to promote independence and well-being
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with local services and communities to ensure seamless support
  • Participate in multi-agency responses to support residents with complex health and social care needs
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practice in adult social care

Requirements

  • Recognized Social Work qualification and current registration with Social Work England
  • Strong understanding of adult social care principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
