About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Home not Hospital. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to an individual with autism and a learning disability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 360-degree wrap-around support to the individual, covering all aspects of their life.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to implement Positive Behaviour Support strategies and ensure the individual's needs are met.
  • Assist with personal care and daily living tasks, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with the individual, their family, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in autism, learning disabilities, and Positive Behaviour Support.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with autism and learning disabilities.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Valid driving license and access to an automatic car.
  • Autism awareness and training (desirable).
