We are a well-established logistics company specializing in pallet network distribution. With a commitment to delivering excellence in customer service and operational efficiency, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Transport Planner to join our dynamic team.
The Role:
As a Transport Planner, you will play a key role in the planning and coordination of our pallet network operations. This includes scheduling drivers, optimizing routes, and ensuring deliveries are made on time, while maintaining high standards of cost-efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and schedule daily transport operations for the pallet network
* Coordinate with drivers, warehouses, and customers to ensure timely deliveries
* Optimize delivery routes to enhance efficiency and minimize costs
* Monitor and manage transport compliance, safety, and legal requirements
* Resolve any operational issues or delays in a proactive and efficient manner
* Liaise with the wider operations team to ensure smooth workflow
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, routes, and driver performance
Requirements:
* Experience in transport planning, particularly within the pallet network sector
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
* Proficient in transport management software and systems
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of transport compliance, legal regulations, and safety protocols
