As an HR Advisor, you will assist the wider HR team with administrative tasks such as managing employee lifecycle processes, maintaining accurate personnel records, and coordinating learning and development initiatives.
In alignment with the HR strategy, you will support and guide managers on people management practices and policies, ensuring a fair and legally compliant work environment.
Essential Requirements of a HR Advisor
* Serve as the primary contact for HR-related inquiries, offering administrative support, directing employees to appropriate resources, and escalating issues to the HR Manager when necessary.
* Provide guidance to managers and staff on employee relations and lifecycle matters, including exit interviews, family leave, sickness absence, flexible working requests, probation extensions, disciplinary actions, grievances, and other performance issues.
* Compile and present data for business and management meetings.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems (IFS and Cezanne) and electronic filing systems, including verification of employees' right to work and security clearance.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should have:
* A CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience with various HR and business systems.
* Proficiency in IT applications.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* A keen eye for detail.
* Experience in maintaining HR data
