Covering HMP Winchester - Due to regular travel the role does require access to transport (i.e. daily commutes, multi-site travel on occasion)
What are we looking for?
- Supporting Service Users gain access to all suitable accommodation
- Working alongside multiple partner agencies including the Local Authority, Housing Strategy Teams & Landlords
- Conducting an assessment with all referred Service Users to determine the appropriate level of support required
- Providing intensive support to all Service Users on a one-to-one basis and in group settings dependent on need
- Working with colleagues in partner agencies to achieve successful housing outcomes
What you Require:
- Experience of working with vulnerable/challenging people; utilizing strong interpersonal skills supporting individuals with ever-changing complex needs
- Evidence of Case Management (i.e dealing with multiple people, having difficult conversations, providing tailored solutions relating to people with 'lived experience. Successful candidates must be non-judgmental, open-minded and honest when dealing with service-users
- The ability to deliver short and tailored interventions to address barriers within a given timeframe (achieving deadlines and diary & time management experience is highly preferred)
