About the Role

You'll work closely with residents to understand their needs and preferences, providing tailored support and guidance to ensure they feel valued and empowered. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and external partners, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with residents to promote safe and secure independent living, reducing isolation and improving overall wellbeing.
  • Provide advice on rent and service charges, assisting with benefits claims and supporting customers with their financial needs.
  • Work with the internal income recovery team to reduce rent arrears and ensure timely payment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective support plans, ensuring residents receive the best possible service.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures, ensuring they align with company values and resident needs.

Requirements

  • Experience/knowledge of housing management, social care, and/or wellbeing of retirement living services.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents and colleagues.
  • Awareness of Health & Safety and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
