Position Summary: The Housing Support Coordinator will join our team to contribute to our Young Person's Homeless Project in Lancashire. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safe and continued provision of accommodation for vulnerable individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with customers to design and implement housing management services tailored to those residing in temporary dispersed accommodation.
  • Engage with customers, team members, and external agencies to provide a comprehensive service of the highest quality.
  • Assist in onboarding new customers and offer guidance regarding welfare and benefits.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the accommodation, including conducting risk assessments and health and safety checks.
  • Work in conjunction with the housing management team to address repairs, vacancies, and maintenance needs.

Work Schedule: This position requires a commitment of 25 hours per week, distributed over a 7-day rota.

Requirements: A satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service is mandatory, and all employment offers are contingent upon receiving two positive references. A full driving license is also required due to the travel involved in the role.

Essential Experience: Candidates must have experience working with individuals aged 16 and above, particularly in customer-facing roles, to ensure exceptional service delivery. Local knowledge is advantageous.
