Job Summary

MSV Housing Group is seeking a highly motivated and organized Scheme Coordinator to join our team. As a Scheme Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our sheltered housing schemes, ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage scheme operations, including customer risk assessments and welfare checks.
  • Conduct regular health and safety checks to ensure the building is safe and secure.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to resident queries and concerns.
  • Manage the scheme waiting list, conducting interviews and allocating properties in accordance with our policies and procedures.
  • Organize and facilitate social activities and events at the scheme.
  • Monitor low-level rent arrears and work collaboratively with internal departments.

Requirements

  • Good standard of education and experience with a variety of ICT packages.
  • Good knowledge of health and safety and completing compliance checks.
  • Experience of face-to-face contact with customers and members of the public.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passionate about providing a customer-focused service to enable our residents to live happy, independent lives.
  • Understanding of housing management, welfare benefits, and safeguarding would be an advantage.
