We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Thornbury Castle. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for the preparation and service of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of chefs in the preparation and presentation of dishes, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
  • Collaborate with the head chef and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Contribute to the development of the castle's culinary reputation, working closely with the events team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a 3 AA Rosette or 1 Michelin star environment.
  • Proven track record of leading a team and developing culinary skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external partners.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work varied shifts and respond to changing demands.
