We are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to join our client, a leading packaging manufacturer. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the site's HSE strategy, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and driving a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in HSE management, including experience in maintaining and building on health, safety, and environmental standards, processes, and procedures. They will also possess strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to counsel supervisors and managers on best practices across HSE.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and build on all health, safety, and environmental standards, processes, and procedures.
  • Counsel supervisors and managers on best practices across HSE.
  • Develop and manage the EHS and ISO 14001 environmental strategy.
  • Ensure the site remains legally compliant in all aspects of HSE - ISO 14001 & ISO 45000 Standard.
  • Investigate accidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Requirements:
  • Must have experience in a similar HSE Manager position.
  • Beneficial to have worked in some form of manufacturing industry.
  • Must have NEBOSH General Certificate & IOSH.
  • ISO 14001 auditing experience would be beneficial.
