About the Job:

The Environmental Health Manager will be responsible for leading our organisation's Environmental Health and Safety initiatives. This role will involve developing and implementing strategies to minimise the environmental impact of our operations, while also ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Developing and implementing an environmental management system
- Conducting regular risk assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement
- Providing guidance and support to employees on environmental best practices
- Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement sustainability initiatives
- Identifying opportunities for energy and resource efficiency
- Developing and implementing waste reduction and recycling programs
- Participating in incident investigations and developing corrective actions
- Maintaining accurate records and reports related to environmental performance

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong background in environmental management, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills. A relevant degree or certification, such as NEBOSH, would be highly desirable.
