Healthcare Improvement Specialist

A highly skilled individual is sought to join the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust as a Senior Learning from Deaths Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a culture of learning within the organisation, ensuring that the Trust maintains a forward-thinking approach to learning from deaths and continuous improvement.
The role is crucial in delivering outstanding care to patients who access our services, with the post holder playing a pivotal role in ensuring the Trust's commitment to patient safety and quality improvement.
Main Duties of the Job
The Senior Learning from Deaths Manager will lead on the implementation of the mortality review process and wider learning from deaths programme of work, providing expertise and leadership across the organisation. This includes liaising with internal and external stakeholders at every level of seniority, facilitating the delivery of exceptional care to patients, and maintaining a focus on continuous improvement within the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Agenda.
