About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Internal Sales Executive to join our team at SIG plc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with our customer base, and driving sales growth within our branch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver new business sales and existing account development to enhance sales and profitability within our branch.
  • Regularly engage with our external sales force, warehouse, and credit control teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Input orders onto our system and maintain accurate sales records via our Salesforce system.
  • Forge strong working relationships with key accounts and manage their expectations around product availability and delivery schedules.

Requirements:

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience in sales-driven environments.
  • IT literacy and proficiency in using sales software and systems.
  • Knowledge of construction products and industry trends is desirable.
