Job Summary

As a Receptionist at The Three Spires Medical Practice, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our busy healthcare facility. Your exceptional communication skills and ability to multitask will enable you to provide top-notch patient care and administrative support to our dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities

• Answer incoming telephone calls in a prompt and professional manner, responding to each call appropriately and accurately, recording and relaying information as required.
• Provide patients with information as requested, taking into consideration rules and procedures regarding confidentiality.
• Receive patients in the reception area, noting their attendance on the computerized appointment system and scheduling appointments as requested.
• Oversee and supervise the patient waiting area, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our patients.
• Extract patient medical records and produce computerized repeat prescriptions as needed.
• Enter and update information on computerized systems, including registration information and general filing.

Requirements

• 3 GCSE grades A-C, including English and Maths or equivalent.
• Previous customer service, reception, or office experience.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• IT literate and proficient in clinical appointment systems.
