About the Role

Kernow Health CIC is seeking a skilled Medical Receptionist and Admin Support to join our Staff Bank. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our General Practices in Cornwall, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process and prioritize appointment requests, ensuring that patients receive the care they need in a timely manner.
  • Manage patient records, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and photocopying.
  • Assist with the management of internal and external post, ensuring that all correspondence is handled efficiently.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and organized reception area, ensuring that the practice is presented in a professional manner.

Requirements

  • GCSE maths and English grade C/4 or above
  • NVQ Business administration or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
