Kernow Health CIC is seeking a skilled Medical Receptionist and Admin Support to join our flexible workforce. As a key member of our team, you will provide short-term, ad-hoc cover to General Practices in Cornwall, supporting them with their administrative needs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide first point of contact for patients, offering advice and guidance to ensure queries are dealt with appropriately.
  • Process and prioritise appointment requests, register new patients, and record amendments to patient records.
  • Manage internal and external post, maintain stationery and other stocks, and ensure the reception area is tidy.
  • Arrange patient transport, book appointments, and provide clerical assistance as required.

Requirements

  • GCSE maths and English grade C/4 or above
  • NVQ Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
