Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to lead our commercial development activities within the Magnets Business Unit. This role will encompass market development, business strategy, and planning, as well as the structuring and negotiation of new opportunities to develop and deploy our technology.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Business Development Manager in developing and delivering the overarching business development and commercial strategy.
- Ownership of customer accounts throughout their lifecycle, working with the delivery team to ensure a high quality of delivery.
- Develop and present high quality business propositions and plans, including models of estimated revenues, return on investment, costs, and project long-term earnings.
- Ensure all internal approvals and supporting papers are prepared to enable progression of prospective and live commercial opportunities.
- Work with the team to research and identify new business opportunities for our intellectual property.
- Technical and commercial knowledge and experience to make optimal decisions regarding IP generation, protection, ownership, and associated contractual agreements.
- Highly organised, with the ability to work autonomously with limited supervision and be a strong, pro-active communicator.
- Ability to manage and secure the support of multiple internal senior and external stakeholders.
