We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to lead the commercial development of our novel HTS magnet technology. This role will involve developing and delivering business strategies, building relationships with customers, and negotiating contracts and agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and delivery of the commercial strategy for our HTS magnet technology.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, including negotiating contracts and agreements.
  • Work with the delivery team to ensure high-quality delivery and provide the voice of the customer.
  • Develop and present business propositions and plans, including models of estimated revenues and return on investment.
  • Ensure all internal approvals and supporting papers are prepared for commercial opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Technical and commercial knowledge and experience to make optimal decisions regarding IP generation, protection, ownership, and associated contractual agreements.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally with a combination of Commerce and Engineering or Science.
  • MBA or business qualification would be an advantage.
