About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to lead our commercial development activities within the Magnets Business Unit. This role will involve developing and delivering business strategies, building relationships with customers, and negotiating contracts and agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Business Development Manager in developing and delivering the business development and commercial strategy.
  • Build long-lasting relationships with customers and negotiate contracts and agreements.
  • Ownership of customer accounts throughout their lifecycle.
  • Develop and present high-quality business propositions and plans.
  • Ensure all internal approvals and supporting papers are prepared.
  • Support the communication and presentation of external opportunities to technical and leadership teams.
  • Work with the team to research and identify new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Technical and commercial knowledge and experience.
  • Highly organised and able to work autonomously.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • MBA or business qualification would be an advantage.
