Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the clinical, managerial, and educational aspects of the Neonatal Unit. This includes coordinating the care of patients, managing staff, and ensuring the unit operates within established standards and guidelines.

About the Role

This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing the Neonatal Unit team
  • Developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures
  • Ensuring high-quality patient care and safety
  • Collaborating with other departments to improve patient outcomes
  • Managing resources and budgets to ensure efficient operation of the unit
Responsibilities

The Clinical Nurse Manager will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the Neonatal Unit operates within established standards and guidelines
  • Developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborating with other departments to improve patient outcomes
  • Managing staff and resources to ensure efficient operation of the unit
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the Neonatal Unit team
