Job Title: Registered Neonatal Nurse

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Neonatal Nurse to join our team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare Trust. As a Registered Neonatal Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to newborn babies and their families in our Neonatal Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage the care of newborn babies with a range of medical conditions, including respiratory distress, infection, and congenital anomalies.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each baby and their family.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, therapists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care to babies and their families.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure that babies are receiving the best possible care and that their needs are being met.
  • Provide education and support to families on how to care for their baby, including feeding, bathing, and soothing techniques.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Neonatal Unit within the last 2 years.
  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices.
