Clinical Practice Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Practice Educator to join our team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Neonatal Unit, you will play a vital role in providing essential and developmental education to our nursing staff, while also supporting mandatory training compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality education and training to nursing staff at all levels, focusing on neonatal care.
- Support the development of a strong and quality workforce by promoting cultural and behavioral changes within the team.
- Work closely with Clinical Nurse Managers and Clinical Matrons to ensure effective quality and service improvement initiatives.
- Plan and deliver Essential Training Days, communicating with the University and Neonatal Network as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills, be able to connect with the Clinical Nursing team at all levels, and have a strong understanding of neonatal care. A teaching qualification and experience in neonatal nursing are essential, as is the ability to balance multiple aspects of the role.
