About the Role

The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neonatal Sister/Charge Nurse to lead our Band 6 Neonatal Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the unit, coordinating admissions and discharges, and maintaining the highest standards of care for our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Neonatal Unit team, ensuring excellent patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and patient flow.
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior staff members.
  • Contribute to the development of the unit's strategic plan and goals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience working in a Neonatal Unit.
  • Qualifications in Specialty.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
