We're looking for an exceptional Employee & Industrial Relations Manager to drive positive change at Databricks Inc.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team in Europe and shape the future of our organization. As an Employee & Industrial Relations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our employees are motivated, engaged, and equipped to succeed.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective performance management strategies, including Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and involuntary terminations.
  2. Train and coach managers on performance management best practices, aligning with our company's values and culture.
  3. Conduct thorough investigations, gathering facts, applying relevant policies and laws, and preparing investigation reports.
  4. Collaborate with the People Partner team to resolve employee disciplinary issues and performance management concerns.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree required; Law degree or graduate degree in labor/industrial relations a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in Employee Relations, with a focus on strategic partnerships in multiple European countries.
  • Demonstrated expertise in performance management, coaching, and training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
