Job Description

The Business Partnerships and Brand Manager will play a critical role in developing and implementing a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth and revenue for the British Academy of Jewellery. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in building strong relationships with industry partners, securing funding and sponsorship, and developing effective marketing campaigns.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong understanding of the jewellery industry and vocational education. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to drive measurable growth in enrolment, partnerships, or brand engagement, and will be able to develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies to increase student enrolment across all programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth and revenue for the British Academy of Jewellery.
  • Cultivate partnerships with industry leaders, businesses, educational institutions, and other strategic stakeholders to support student growth and commercial offerings.
  • Establish and lead our institution's fundraising and sponsorship strategy to secure financial support for scholarships and other initiatives.
  • Develop targeted recruitment strategies to increase student enrolment across all programmes, with a focus on diversity, inclusion, and widening participation.
  • Lead a team of communications and marketing professionals to create engaging content for digital platforms and manage our social media presence.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior communications, marketing, or development role, ideally within the education, creative industries, or nonprofit sectors.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field, and professional qualifications in marketing, communications, or fundraising (e.g., CIPR).
Estimated Salary

The salary for this position is estimated at £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
