Safety and Compliance Specialist

The Care New England Health System seeks a highly skilled Safety and Compliance Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the safety program, you will assist in coordinating emergency preparedness activities and provide hazard communication training consistent with Joint Commission standards, NFPA, CARF, CAP, and other governing entities.
Job Summary:
- Assist in developing and implementing safety programs and protocols
- Provide training and education on workplace hazards and risk management
- Conduct regular inspections and monitoring to ensure compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with the Safety Manager to provide reports and documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, industrial hygiene, or related field
- 5 years' experience in risk/safety/emergency management, preferably in a hospital setting
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience
