Salary
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus a competitive bonus package based on 50% of the OTE (On-Target Earnings).
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our team as an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Sales Executive. This role will focus on sales to UK mid-market private equity clients and their portfolio companies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of account growth and new business sales within the private equity sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential private equity buyers, presenting tailored ESG solutions, and selling to portfolio companies while adding them as new clients. They will also source and close upsell opportunities, build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within private equity firms, and work closely with ESG consultants to develop and deliver integrated ESG strategies and solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a sound understanding of UK mid-market private equity and be an excellent networker. You should have a proven track record of account growth, new business sales, and experience working with Board Members, Partners, Investment/Portfolio directors, and ESG specialists within UK mid-market private equity clients. Additionally, you should have strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
