Job Title: Teaching Assistant for SEN Students
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Birmingham
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist school in Birmingham. The school caters for a range of different needs including ASD, physical needs, SLD and PMLD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with additional needs in the classroom
- Working 1:1, in small groups and general classroom tasks
- Assisting the teacher with lesson planning and delivery
- Managing challenging behaviour
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with additional needs
- Strong passion for supporting students and making learning fun
- Resilient and adaptable approach
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour
