PK Education is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to work within one of our Special Education Needs (SEN) schools in Birmingham that provide support to pupils aged 5-11 with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD).

The successful candidate will have experience working with children in a SEN, school or nursery setting. You may also have experience working with children or adults with complex needs in a care setting.

We are looking for someone who can work well with teachers as part of a professional team, supporting students with SEMH. If you are passionate about supporting children with SEN, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Teaching assistant level 1, 2 or 3, Health and social care qualification or equivalent.
  2. Experience working with children with complex or SEN needs within the last two years e.g Care Home, Residential Care Home, SEMH School or Pupil Referral Unit (PRU).
  3. Able to work as part of a team and support the ethos of a school.
