Business Development Director

We are seeking a talented Business Development Manager to join our team at Upstream Solutions Group. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the Electrical sector, as well as managing and growing existing customer relationships.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in B2B face-to-face sales, with a strong understanding of the Electrical sector. They will be a hard worker, dedicated to success, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Prospecting for potential new clients and converting this into new business
- Cold calling to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
- Meeting potential clients and growing, maintaining, and leveraging their network
- Identifying potential clients, decision-makers, and influencers within client organizations
- Setting up meetings between client decision-makers and company practice leaders/principals
- Planning approaches and pitches
- Participating in pricing customer requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A proven track record in B2B face-to-face sales, ideally in the Electrical sector
- Experience dealing with specifiers and installers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A full UK driving license
