Catering Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Catering Manager to join our team at Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer providing fresh and innovative food services to independent schools and colleges.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing high-volume, quality-focused environments and will be able to demonstrate excellent coaching, delegation, and influencing skills.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing well-balanced and nutritious menus, managing the catering budget, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and quality control protocols.

You will also be expected to establish strong relationships with school Bursars, Head Teachers, and faculty, as well as recruit, train, and supervise catering staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that cater to diverse dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Manage the catering budget and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality control protocols.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise catering staff.
  • Establish strong relationships with school Bursars, Head Teachers, and faculty.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or Deputy General Manager in a high-volume, quality-focused environment.
  • Excellent coaching, delegation, and influencing skills.
  • Financially astute and able to create and maintain budgets.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and thrive under pressure.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing circumstances.
