Job Title: General Assistant - Food Service Professional

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Assistant to join our team at Holroyd Howe. As a General Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service provision, providing exceptional customer service to students and staff, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast and lunch according to established menus and recipes.
* Maintain cleanliness of the front of house areas, including organizing dishes and utensils.
* Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
* Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
* Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.
* Participate in training sessions and meetings related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.

Requirements:

* Ideally have experience working within education catering.
* Have good health and safety knowledge.
