Job Title: Senior Care Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team at a reputable care home in Chester-le-Street, Durham. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, enabling them to live their later life to the fullest.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and inspire a team of care assistants to deliver high-quality care to our residents.
  • Support residents with personal care needs and encourage them to participate in various activities that promote their health and wellbeing.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care and willingness to work towards Level 3.
  • Passionate about caring for older people.
  • Previous care experience.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and motivating a team to deliver high-quality care.
  • Kind, warm, and caring nature, with excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and use your own initiative.
