Senior Care Assistant Job Opportunity

An exciting new role has become available for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our exceptional care home team in Chester-le-Street, Durham. As a leading healthcare provider, we offer a supportive and dynamic work environment that enables our staff to deliver high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team of care assistants to provide exceptional care to our residents, promoting their health and wellbeing.
  • Support residents with personal care needs and encourage participation in a range of activities that support their health and wellbeing.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care and willingness to work towards Level 3.
  • Passionate about caring for older people.
  • Previous care experience.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and motivating a team to deliver high-quality care.
  • Kind, warm, and caring nature, with excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and use initiative when needed.
