Senior Care Assistant Opportunity

An exciting new role has become available for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our exceptional care home in Chester-le-Street, Durham. As a key member of our team, you will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.

About the Role

This purpose-built care home offers the highest standard of residential and dementia care to its residents. As a Senior Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and inspiring a team of care assistants to provide exceptional care to our residents, enabling them to live their later life well.
  • Supporting residents with personal care needs and facilitating their participation in a wide range of activities that promote their health and wellbeing.
  • Administering medication and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must hold a QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care and be willing to work towards Level 3. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about caring for older people and have previous care experience. Experience leading, coaching, and motivating a team to deliver high-quality care is also desirable.
