Job Overview

As an Operations Director, your primary objective is to collaborate closely with your teams to foster a positive work environment and collectively deliver outstanding customer experiences.

In addition to possessing exceptional presentation, organizational, and communication skills, you will showcase a genuine enthusiasm for culinary excellence and service.

  • Work in tandem with the kitchen staff to create well-balanced and nutritious menus that accommodate various dietary needs and preferences.
  • Oversee and manage the catering budget, ensuring cost-effective practices while upholding quality standards.
  • Build strong partnerships with educational administrators and faculty members.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and inspire catering personnel.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and quality assurance protocols.
  • Identify avenues for growth, innovation, and enhancement in menu offerings, service delivery, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain strict compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a tidy and organized kitchen environment.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience as an Operations Director or Deputy Operations Director in a high-volume, quality-driven environment.
  • Proven ability to manage, train, and support a team effectively.
  • Financially savvy, with strong analytical skills to create and maintain budgets while driving commercial success.
  • Excellent coaching, delegation, and influencing capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while thriving under pressure.
  • Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize responsibilities and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Meticulous organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Empathetic, clear, and effective verbal and written communication.
