We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Manager to join our team at Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer providing fresh and innovative food services to independent schools and colleges.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing high-volume, quality-focused environments and will be able to demonstrate excellent coaching, delegation, and influencing skills.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing well-balanced and nutritious menus, managing the catering budget, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
You will also be responsible for recruiting, training, and supervising catering staff, as well as establishing strong relationships with school Bursars, Head Teachers, and faculty.
We offer a competitive salary and a range of benefits, including 28 days holiday, 3 volunteering days, and 24 weeks' enhanced maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement menus that cater to diverse dietary requirements and preferences.
- Manage the catering budget and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Recruit, train, and supervise catering staff.
- Establish strong relationships with school stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a General Manager or Deputy General Manager in a high-volume, quality-focused environment.
- Excellent coaching, delegation, and influencing skills.
- Financially astute and able to create and maintain budgets.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Empathetic and effective verbal and written communication.
