Catering Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Catering Manager to join our team at Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer providing fresh and innovative food services to independent schools and colleges.

The successful candidate will have a background in exceptional food catering services and a passion for creating delicious dining experiences that fuel young minds and ignite taste buds.

Job Responsibilities

As a Catering Manager, you will be responsible for working closely with your teams to develop a great work relationship and provide the best customer service.

You will collaborate with the back of house team to help develop well-balanced and nutritious menus that cater to diverse dietary requirements and preferences.

You will prepare and manage the catering budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining quality standards.

You will establish strong relationships with school Bursars, Head Teachers, and faculty.

You will recruit, train, supervise, and motivate catering staff.

You will ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and quality control protocols.

You will identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and improvement in menu offerings, service delivery, and operational efficiency.

You will maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment.



Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with proven experience as a General Manager or Deputy General Manager in a high-volume, quality-focused environment.

You should be able to demonstrate that managing, training, and supporting a team has been an important part of your career to date.

You should be financially astute, able to create and maintain budgets, and drive commercial performance.

You should have excellent coaching, delegation, and influencing skills.

You should be able to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, creative environment and thrive under pressure.

You should be able to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.

You should have meticulous organizational abilities and a high attention to detail.

You should be empathetic, clear, and highly effective in verbal and written communication.

You should be able to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution-oriented perspective.

You should have excellent strategic thinking and critical reasoning skills.
