Therapist and Community Worker

We are seeking a Therapist and Community Worker to join our team at The Forward Trust.
The successful candidate will provide mental wellbeing support to individuals in custody, working closely with adults on an individual or group face-to-face basis.
This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals struggling with mental health issues.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to address risk and inform mental wellbeing treatment journeys.
- Develop and contribute to the Mental Wellbeing care needs of service users, supporting them in the development of care plans which are appropriate to their needs.
- Proactively approach integrated ways of working support and adopt a multidisciplinary approach.
- Be involved with regular service audits ensuring that any issues are addressed in a timely manner and good practice is effectively shared to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Experience in substance misuse, mental health, or custody.
- IT competence.
- Diligence, proactivity, and passion for helping others.
Salary: £24,000 per annum.
