Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled mental health practitioner to join our team as a Child and Family Therapist - Perinatal Service. This is an exciting opportunity to work with new mothers and their families, providing specialist assessment, intervention, and support.

As a Child and Family Therapist - Perinal Service, you will work collaboratively with care coordinators, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to provide high-quality mental health services to women at risk of moderate to severe mental illness during the perinatal period.

The successful candidate will be based at The Linden Centre in Chelmsford and will work within the North Essex service, providing care to women and their families across the county. We offer a supportive and dynamic working environment, with opportunities for professional development and growth.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A relevant mental health qualification, such as RMN, OT, or Social Worker Degree.
  • At least two years' post-basic training experience in a mental health setting.
  • Evidence of continuing professional and personal development.
  • Understanding of adult and child safeguarding.
