We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Family Wellbeing Specialist to join our team in Essex. As a key member of our wellbeing services, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people with Autism and/or Learning Disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in working with vulnerable populations, particularly those with Autism and/or Learning Disabilities. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, young people, and their families.

This is a full-time opportunity that requires dedication and flexibility. You will be based out of one of our Essex hubs, with the expectation to travel to families throughout your region. The service operates Monday to Saturday, with hours of work between 8am and 8pm.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Accepting and allocating cases, working closely with the Case Load Manager to identify at-risk children/young people and their families
  • BUILDING TRUSTING RELATIONSHIPS WITH CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE, AND THEIR FAMILIES THROUGH CONSISTENT ALLOCATION OF CASES
  • LEADING AND PARTICIPATING IN THE OUT-OF-HOURS ROTA AND PROVIDING CLINICAL AND CASELoad SUPERVISION
  • LIAISING WITH HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE, EDUCATION, AND POLICE COLLEAGUES TO IMPROVE ACCESS, CONTINUITY OF CARE, AND WELL-PLANNED TRANSITIONS
