We are seeking a skilled Child Protection Specialist to join our team in Essex, focusing on public and private law related to family court proceedings. This role requires advanced social work-level services to ensure the well-being and safety of children throughout the process.

About the Role:
  • Assess and analyse court applications for child protection and serious welfare issues.
  • Influence those with parental responsibility to focus on the child's needs and advise courts and local authorities on safeguarding concerns.
  • Support judicial case management and ensure the child's voice is heard in the court arena.
  • Engage in high-quality direct work with children and their families.
  • Work flexibly around the service area, attending court, meeting children in person, and participating in office meetings and learning opportunities.
Key Requirements:
  • Diploma in Social Work (or equivalent recognised by Social Work England).
  • Minimum of three years post-qualifying experience in social work with children and families at risk.
  • Demonstrated skills in assessment, case analysis, and effective communication with children and families.
  • Competent use of IT and electronic systems for case planning and recording.
