Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinician to join our CAMHS Eating Disorder Service. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children and young people who require complex interventions, and their families.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in working therapeutically with young people and families in crisis, and be passionate about delivering high-quality patient-led care.

This is a full-time position, but we also consider part-time or job-share applicants. Flexible working arrangements can be discussed.

About the Role

As a Senior Clinician, you will be responsible for assessment, treatment, and outcome measurement for young people with eating disorders. You will work closely with colleagues within the MDT to provide NICE-concordant psychological interventions.

You will also provide clinical supervision to staff and contribute to the development of new interventions.

We welcome applications from professionals with a range of disciplines and backgrounds, including mental health nurses, counselling psychologists, clinical psychologists, social workers, art psychotherapists, drama therapists, occupational therapists, and other suitably qualified professional staff.

Requirements
  • Postgraduate training in psychological practice (e.g., psychologist or family therapist)
  • Eligibility for registration as a full member of the appropriate professional body (e.g., HCPC, ACP, AFT, NMC)
  • Extensive experience of working with difficult, disturbed, or challenging children/young people requiring skilled and complex interventions
Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of £45,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
