Chelmsford, Essex, United Kingdom Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust Full time
About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Community Social Worker to join our team in the Mid Essex area. As a Community Social Worker, you will work at the forefront of our community mental health treatment teams, providing high-quality assessment and intervention to service users experiencing a wide range of mental health problems.

You will support the delivery of strength and asset-based approaches, promoting recovery and social inclusion with individuals and families. This post involves implementing the personalisation agenda through strengths-based assessments and delivering statutory social care duties and responsibilities within the Care Act (2014).

The successful candidate will have a qualification in social work and significant experience in a similar role. You will also be expected to undertake AMHP training at the earliest opportunity if not already done so. Those individuals who do undertake AMHP work always have their caseloads reduced in pro-rota fashion and the role attracts additional pay.

We offer a competitive salary of £38,890 - £44,541 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits including season ticket loans, NHS discounts, and a day-one flexible employer policy. We are committed to supporting our staff in their career development and offer extensive training and development opportunities.
